IC 405 - Flaming Star Nebula
A portion of the Flaming Star Nebula (IC 405), an interesting combination of emission and reflection nebula in the constellation Auriga.
I did a combination of techniques to incorporate the blue channel of the reflection nebula into the narrowband of the emission nebula. As such, instead of just doing a HOO (Hydrogen-Alpha/Oxygen III) mixture, I did a Ha/OIII/OIII-Blue blend. As such it is a bit closer to an RGB color than just the typical narrowband color scheme.
